  • Breakfast is easy when you've prepared it the night before, like this healthy bircher muesli.

    7 Ingredients

    • 35g (1/3 cup) rolled oats
    • 1 small carrot, peeled, coarsely grated
    • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
    • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds
    • 70g (1/4 cup) natural yoghurt
    • 1/2 small apple, sliced
    • Maple syrup, to serve (optional)

    2 Method Steps

    • Combine the oats, carrot, cinnamon, 3 tsp sunflower seeds and 125ml (1/2 cup) water in a bowl. Cover and place in the fridge overnight to soak.
    • Before serving, top with the yoghurt, apple, remaining sunflower seeds and a drizzle of maple syrup, if you like.
