Magic 4-ingredient potato bake
What do you get when you combine a creamy potato bake with the flavours of a burger? You get this incredible side dish that just might steal the show from your main! ‘So, what’s magical about it?’, you ask. Well, this potato bake is absolutely full of flavour - but you only need four ingredients to create it! This is thanks to the use of burger sauce, which makes it rich, tangy and creamy - all at the same time. Burger sauce contains paprika (which adds warmth), gherkins (hello, tanginess) and egg (which helps makes the sauce silky smooth).
And of course, what kind of potato bake would it be without cheese? Here, we’ve used a pizza blend so you get all the stringiness of mozzarella with the depth of flavour from cheddar and parmesan.

- Place one-third of the potato to cover the base of the dish. Top with 100ml cream and season. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons burger sauce and sprinkle with 20g (1/4 cup) cheese. Repeat layering with the remaining potato, cream and 40g (1/2 cup) cheese to create two more layers.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake for 55 minutes or until the potato is just tender. Uncover and sprinkle with extra cheese. Bake for a further 10 minutes or until the potato is tender and the cheese is golden. Serve.
